Terms of Use

JomCarA is a platform of the Johor Malaysia Caravan Association. It lets members find and offer campsites and rental vehicles, take part in the community and manage membership.

JomCarA is not the host or owner of a listing and is not a party to the stay or rental agreed between a host and a guest.

• Give correct information and keep your password and second factor safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law.

• Hosts must own or be entitled to offer what they list, hold any licence the law requires, and describe it honestly (place, price, facilities, rules).
• New listings are checked by the committee before they are shown. A check is not a guarantee of quality or safety.
• Hosts must answer requests, keep their calendar correct and honour confirmed bookings. The committee may take down a listing that is misleading or unsafe.

• The price you see when you book is the price you pay. The platform calculates it and it cannot be changed afterwards.
• A booking is confirmed when the platform says so (instant booking) or when the host accepts your request. Until then nothing is owed.
• For now payment is arranged directly between guest and host (bank transfer or cash) using the booking reference. Online payment may be added later.

• A guest can cancel before check-in under My bookings. If money was already paid, any refund is agreed between guest and host.
• A host who cancels a confirmed booking must give a reason and should refund in full.
• Requests that the host does not answer in time lapse automatically.

Do not misuse the platform: no false listings or bookings, no harassment, no attempts to break or overload the service, no collecting other people's data, and no unlawful content.

You keep the rights to what you upload and you allow JomCarA to show it on the platform. Only upload what you may share. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

The platform is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, JomCarA is not liable for the acts of hosts or guests, for the condition or safety of a place or vehicle, or for losses caused by interruptions of the service. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. We may change them; we will announce important changes and the version at the top will change.
